Educate and Facilitate BI-PV Solar
K-SECwas founded in 2005 as non-partisan non-governmental non-profit organization to raise awareness and build momentum in the manufacture and deployment of building-integrated photovoltaics [BI-PV] supported by a quality service industry in Kansas and the United States. K-SEC clients do not purchase solar systems. K-SEC will lease consumer rooftops for fifty years with equity exchange of battery back-up
The US presently has a total of 500 MWp installed photovoltaic solar energy capacity.
K-SEC is a deployment acceleration program allowing US to timely use solar energy.
The German States is a nation a little larger than Kansas. It has seven times 500 MWp with over 3.5 Gigawatt peak installed solar capacity. Germany has only 3 to 4 sun hours a day compared to Kansas with 5 to 6 sun hours daily.
China opened 35 Photovoltaic manufacturing plants since K-SEC was founded in 2005.
The K-SEC Model has as primary goal to assure local BI-PV Solar Manufacturing and Expertise.
- K-SEC will train and certify 735 installation techs to install 2,000 SF BI-PV a week in 100 counties of Kansas for ten years.
- K-SEC will install, monitor, maintain and conduct fifty years of R&D on 1,000 MWp solar resource to evolve BI-PV.
- K-SEC's Solar Program will increase: >Homeland Security >Emergency Preparedness >BI-PV Solar Architecture Expertise >Environmental Integrity >Energy Autonomy with less dependency on CO2 technologies/hazardous emissions.
The K-SEC Model is a three-phase plan to produce and install 1,000 MWp BI-PV Solar Electric Generators in Kansas by 2024.

The Bremby Decision October 18, 2007
Roderick Bremby the previous Secretary of the Kansas Dept of Health & Environment denied approval of the coal permitsfor the coal plan proposed in Holcomb, KS by Sunflower and Tri State. He was ousted from office in retaliation per the following Kansas statute.
KANSAS STATUTES ANNOTATED
Chapter 65-3029 Disrespected and disrupted regulation of coal plants in Kansas while showing favoritism to the Sunflower Corporation and their cohorts.
Kansas Legislatorsillegally advocated for coal option in this unusual statute providing special treatment for Sunflower Co. demanding the Secretary of the Kansas Department of Health and Environment must provide a permit to build the proposed coal plant in Holcomb, Kansas -not for Kansas, but to allegedly provide electricity to Colorado. 50% of the electricity generated from the plant would be lost in distribution. The plant would expand numerous existing environmental problems. Permit approved provides total self-monitoring of fossil fuel emissions by Sunflowe Co.
PLEASE WRITE KANSAS leaders to stop coal plant. K-SEC suggests they build 300 MWp SOLAR CHIMNEYS.

It is one thing to depend upon foreign countries for oil resources, but quite another to allow ourselves to become dependent on other nations for energy technologies that we have the raw materials for and can manufacture in the United States.
