Keynote Speaker for event: Daniel Wallach Director of Greensburg GreenTown
Association was established to further the green rebuilding of Greensburg, KS destroyed by a tornado in May 2007. As a local resident who was missed by the tornado by two miles, he shared the history of that fateful day and the recovery of Greensburg thus far and as planned. It was an excellent and stirring presentation focused on people's stories.
http://www.GreensburgGreenTown.org
I was inspired to share my story about making a presentation on solar energy to the Greensburg City Council Feb 27, 2007 per their need to replace a 400 MW turbine. The reality was that they needed nearly half the amount The K-SEC Model would provide to Kansas, but they needed it in three months. With the expertise, infrastructure, jobs in every aspect of BI-PV Solar, related training and global demand; The K-SEC Model will help evolve the ability in Kansas to meet a 400 MWp order for BI-PV in three months.
