Kansas Solar Electric Co~operatives, Inc. is seeking a rural community to locate the Fabrication and Training Center/Museum for K-SEC's Phase I Demonstration.  The $7 million facility will be designed as a state-of-the art manufacturing plant and working museum to allow the public access to watch the fabrication and construction of solar systems. 

K-SEC takes pride in delivering world-class service as a non-profit deployment acceleration program.  Solar Architecture requires a solid foundation.  Each of K-SEC's customers will be a unique and important part of The K-SEC Model as we achieve our  goal to install 1,000 MWp BI-PV Solar in Kansas by 2024.   K-SEC will lease consumer rooftops with battery back-up for fifty years. 

We will produce, install, maintain and monitor our solar systems.    USDA will pay up to 25% of the cost of a solar system providing  grants or low interest loans to cover structural modifications where needed.  BI-PV Solar can be installed on a variety of structures from homes to office buildings to historic structures to livestock barns and grain elevators.

May 21, 2011:  "A California preacher -Harold Camping -who foretold of the world's end only to see the appointed day pass with no extraordinarily cataclysmic event has revised his apocalyptic prophesy saying ...the Earth actually will be obliterated on October 21.     

In 2009, Mr. Camping's organization Family Radio reported in IRS filings that it had received $18.3 million in donations and had more than $104 million in assets, including $34 million in stocks and other publicly traded securities."
